When: Wed Dec 6th 17:45 -19:00 Where: Amethyst Cave, Southbourne, BH7 6DL
A restful collaboration of sound and movement with myself and Ananda Foakes, yoga teacher, beach lover and friend. Join us for this exclusive session to experience deep relaxation and rest. This class will offer you a collective pause, that calm before christmas, as we move, breathe and unwind before melting into the stress relieving effects of therapeutic sound bathing. *Please be aware that Ananada is not yet qualified and is currently doing her training through the British Academy Of Sound Therapy*
Bask in the sound of Himalayan Crystal Bowls with Therapeutic Percussion, these instrument’s emit rich harmonic frequencies supporting your body to rest deeply. You will be bathed in these sounds as you relax comfortably on the infrared heated floor of the studio, feel free to bring blankets, feeling the stresses and strains of the day melting away.
The session will begin with guidance from Dani @thesoultysurfer, who will lead you through gentle breath and body practices, drawing on Restorative Yoga to slow us down and settle us in. Once in Shavasana, the sound healing will begin. As you lie comfortably, Ananda will play specific instruments, using tone and vibration to balance and heal the body, mind, and spirit.
