When: Saturday 14th October 9:00 - 16:30 Where: Happy River, Bere Rd, Wareham BH20 7PA
This retreat is an opportunity for you to slow down and nurture your wellbeing within the richness of nature at Happy River in Wareham Forest.
It’s an invitation for you to deeply replenish and rest every cell of your body, whilst working with the themes of Ocean and Earth. Experience the grounding nature of physical practices whilst holding space for the flow-like state of breath. We will work closely with these themes throughout the day helping you to discover the deliciousness of stillness and joy of movement.
As well as settling, earthy practices, this retreat has an element of challenge with the option of an ice bath immersion and spending time in the beautiful handmade forest sauna in the trees.
Gilly, our chef for this session @wyldgreenkitchen is lovingly providing us with some seasonal options to complement the move into autumn and our foraging workshop with Rachael Waring @rachaelwaringyoga (500 hour yoga teacher and plant medicine enthusiast) in the afternoon.
Here we will spend time within the trees learning about the plant life around us and the medicinal qualities that it holds. We will also enjoy some practices in the forest, as we bathe in nature's splendour and connect to a slower pace of being.
The day will open and close with a group circle, drawing in a light element of ceremony to help hold you in the space and work with gentle intentions, relevant to your journey and growth.
